About Me

My name is Jordan. I’m 26 and I just lost my parents insurance. Growing up, I played a lot of video games with my two younger brothers. Don’t tell anyone, but I still have a deck of Pokemon cards that may or may not have been used as recently as two years ago. I also enjoy watching Washington sports teams until they inevitably disappoint me. Finally, to bring this random splattering of facts to a close, I went to the University of Maryland (class of ’09) and majored in Criminology and Criminal Justice (so useful!).

Bookwise, I’ve been reading a lot of Fantasy and Science Fiction. I reinvigorated my love for reading through books like The Name of the Wind, Lies of Locke Lamora and Mistborn. I idolize Brandon Sanderson’s writing as a model for how I want my own to improve.

What do I do for work? Well, up until March 2017 I worked taking calls (mostly answering questions about how to copy/paste). I usually spent my time between calls frantically writing. I hoped one day to be able to write full time instead. So when I had enough saved up… I quit! And now I’m here, hoping to write well enough that I won’t have to go back to the 9-5.
